FloorPro® gives Immediate Results

The FloorPro® Floor Flatness Profiler
The FloorPro® is a self-propelled, rolling precision inclinometer device that travels 40 feet per minute on hardened stainless steel wheels with an aluminum chassis and parts that are hard anodized to military specification.

First time out on each project, type in complete header information as prompted in the LCD.  After that, change only the file name and specify the RUN.  SO EASY!

The FloorPro® Floor Flatness Profiler

The FloorPro® has on-board software-driven electronics, a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), and is electronically automated with a high speed microprocessor. It does not require back-up power because of its "flash RAM" memory.

When you order a FloorPro®, you get everything you need to begin work within minutes, right out of the box.

TruFlat® Software is included with every purchase of a FloorPro®

Immediate flatness results help contractor crews produce flatter floors.

Effect of changes made in installation procedures can be evaluated without waiting for lab reports.  Focus on the flatness goal helps improve teamwork.  FloorPro® results help you avoid contract disputes, reduce repair costs, and save money.

Reduces Test Time

The FloorPro® rolls under its own power at 40 feet per minute and immediately three tolerance results can be displayed at the end of each survey line:

  • F-numbers (ASTM E 1115)
  • Waviness Index (ASTM E 1486)
  • 10-foot Auto Straightedge (ACI 117)

You Can Print Ready To Submit Reports

The included TruFlat® software provides test labs and contractors with computer printout of reports suitable for the owner’s engineer.  For contractors who prefer to just record the results of each line on paper and tell their flatwork crews the results, TruFlat® provides a permanent record of job flatness results.

Handles All Flatness specifications

The FloorPro® works with all three random traffic flatness specifications.  In addition to random traffic flatness areas, TruFlat® permits analysis of defined traffic wheeltracks in the narrow aisle areas of high stack warehouses.  Wheeltrack flatness is critical in these narrow aisles where expensive swing-reach fork lift trucks will operate.

What you need to know about the FloorPro®

The FloorPro® comes complete with all the equipment needed for measuring and downloading to your own computer.

The FloorPro® has on-board software-driven electronics, a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), and is electronically automated with a high speed microprocessor. It does not require back-up power because of its "flash RAM" memory. The three major floor flatness indices are computed at the end of each survey run and can be seen in the LCD.

For hard copy reports, a nine pin connector cable is used to download the survey data into the TruFlat® Software in your computer.

Requirements for your computer (not included), your monitor (not included) and your printer (not included) can be found in Chapters A.4 - A.8 in the TruFlat® Manual.

Smaller Than a Shoebox
and Practically Runs Itself

The FloorPro® is smaller than a shoe box, weighs 11 pounds and is powered by 8 D cell batteries that last about 10 hours when in constant use.

It is a self-propelled, rolling precision inclinometer device that travels 40 feet per minute on hardened stainless steel wheels with an aluminum chassis and parts that are hard anodized to military specification.

On the back of the durable urethane cover is an RS 232 cable port for rapid data downloading to your computer.  A carrying handle slides in and out of the front of the chassis.  On top of the cover, a back lit liquid crystal display (LCD) prompts the user to type in the necessary project information that will appear later in the headers of the computer generated TruFlat® reports.  At the end of each survey line, the Ff and Fl Numbers, Waviness Index/ or Auto Straightedge Index results can be seen immediately in the LCD as well as being saved for future us.

Using the FloorPro® is Easy, Requires No Special Knowledge, and Saves You Time

First time out on each project, type in complete header information as prompted in the LCD.  After that, change only the file name and specify the RUN.

Set the FloorPro® at the start point of the survey line, aim the laser beam at a piece of reflective tape on a cardboard box target at the end of the survey line, enter the desired distance and press start.  The robot will stop automatically at the end of the run.

As the FloorPro® travels the survey line, many inclinometer slope readings are gathered over a 1” interval every 6”, and average saved as the 6” slope.  Those slopes are saved in a flash RAM (memory independent of the D cells) and used by the microprocessor to compute the flatness indexes shown in the LCD FloorPro®’s memory.

FloorPro®’s memory is downloaded to TruFlat® in your computer to produce hard copy reports.  FloorPro® comes complete with manuals in a foam-lined carrying case that can be checked as baggage.
