The FloorPro� has a female 9 pin RS232 serial communications port.� If your computer has an available male 9 pin RS232 serial port, then you need a �Straight-Thru� 9 pin serial cable (not this item).�

This item includes a USB cable and USB to male 9 pin serial adapter with software driver (on cd) to permit computers without available 9 pin male RS232 ports, but with available USB ports to communicate with the FloorPro� (downloaded using the TruFlat� software).

Replacement USB/Serial Adapter with USB Cable Includes: High Speed Serial to USB Adapter with software driver (on cd) to permit computers without available 9 pin male RS232 ports, but with available USB ports to communicate with the FloorPro� (downloaded using the TruFlat� software). USB is both 1.1 and 2.0 compatible and uses a FTDI high speed serial to USB chip.
